Infertility Evaluation

Fertility Care

Infertility Evaluation at Harsh Hospital

Struggling to conceive can feel lonely and confusing, but you don’t have to face it alone, or guess at the cause. A clear, step-by-step evaluation for both partners is the first move toward answers and hope.

Difficulty conceiving is more common than most couples realise, and it is very often treatable. At Harsh Hospital in Himatnagar, Dr. Hitesh Patel guides couples through a calm, respectful evaluation that looks at both partners, because fertility involves both. We identify what may be standing in the way, explain it in plain language, and map out the next steps together. No judgement, no rushing, just clear answers and a supportive plan.

What We Assess

🥚

Ovulation

Checking whether eggs are being released regularly, and the hormones that control it.
🔬

Tubal & Uterine Factors

Looking at the fallopian tubes and uterus for blockages or changes that affect conception.
🧪

Hormonal Balance

Targeted blood tests to find hormonal imbalances such as thyroid or prolactin issues.
👨

Male-Factor Assessment

A simple semen analysis, because around half of all fertility concerns involve the male partner.
🌸

PCOS & Related Conditions

Identifying conditions like PCOS or endometriosis that can affect fertility.

Unexplained Infertility

A careful, thorough review when initial tests appear normal but conception isn’t happening.

Our Approach

  1. Initial Consultation, a relaxed first visit for both partners, reviewing your history and concerns.
  2. Focused Investigations, only the tests that are genuinely useful for your situation, no unnecessary procedures.
  3. Clear Diagnosis, we explain what the results mean, simply and honestly.
  4. Personalised Plan, a treatment or guidance plan built around your diagnosis and your goals.
  5. Ongoing Support, continued care and, where needed, guidance toward advanced fertility treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should we see a fertility specialist?Generally after about a year of trying without success, or after six months if the woman is over 35, or if there are known issues such as irregular periods. Coming in earlier for advice is always fine.
Is infertility always the woman’s issue? No. Fertility concerns are roughly as likely to involve the male partner as the female partner, which is why we evaluate both from the start.
What tests are usually involved?Often some blood tests for hormones, an ultrasound, a check of the tubes and uterus, and a semen analysis for the male partner. We only recommend what’s genuinely useful.
Does the evaluation hurt? Most tests are simple and cause little or no discomfort. If any procedure might be uncomfortable, we explain it fully beforehand so you know what to expect.
Will we definitely need IVF?Not necessarily. Many couples conceive with simple treatment, lifestyle changes, or ovulation support. Advanced treatment is only considered when it’s genuinely the right path, and we guide you toward it if needed.
